Enameled Pendants with Mason Stains – $100.00
Friday, July 14, 2023 | 11am-4pm
Instructor: Dawn Lombard
Level: All Levels.
Technique: Enameling/Metalwork/Design
Skills and techniques taught: Basic sifted enameling, etching and the technique of applying Mason Stain for surface design.
Description: It’s always fun to expand your enameling skills. In this class you will learn how to incorporate Mason Stains with your enamel work and take it to a whole new level. Mason Stains are NOT enamel – they are unleaded pigment that contains no glass. Together we will enamel a copper disc and etch it to create a ‘tooth’. From there we will draw a design and paint on the stains and seal the stain once cooled. You will then learn how to create a tab setting for your new pendant masterpiece.
You WILL complete this project in class.
Kit: $25.00 – This cost is in addition to the class fee and is paid directly to the instructor in class
Kit includes: 3 copper disc blanks, 3 patterned German silver discs, jump rings, (3) 17″ (plus 2″ extender) necklaces,
